Quarterly EMS Survey Team Reports http://www.lifenetems.org/index.php/quarterly-ems-survey-team-reports/#utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss http://www.lifenetems.org/index.php/quarterly-ems-survey-team-reports/#respond Fri, 03 Mar 2017 20:16:03 +0000 http://www.lifenetems.org/?p=1209 LifeNet released the quarterly EMS Survey Team reports for each of their divisions. The survey asks respondents randomly selected to evaluate each phase of their experience, from interacting with dispatchers and the care they received from the medics, to the cleanliness and quality of the ambulance in which they were transported.

The purpose of the survey enables EMS agencies to provide the best experiences by measuring overall satisfaction, accessing the company’s specific information and benchmarking services against other providers in the EMS industry.

Since 2005, LifeNet, Inc. has been dedicated to measuring and reporting SCA statistics using the Utstein Style for reporting cardiac arrest data. As part of this process, LifeNet clinical quality improvement staff review and report on every adult SCA patient whose arrest is deemed to be of a medical (non-traumatic) origin.  LifeNet is pleased to provide you with our latest results (calendar 2016) from our Sudden Cardiac Arrest database.

Gold Standard National Accreditation http://www.lifenetems.org/index.php/gold-standard-national-accreditation/#utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss http://www.lifenetems.org/index.php/gold-standard-national-accreditation/#respond Fri, 03 Mar 2017 18:19:26 +0000 http://www.lifenetems.org/?p=1166 LifeNet first received national accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services (CAAS) in December 2000 for its compliance with national standards of excellence. The Commission is a non-profit organization established to encourage and promote quality patient care in America’s medical transportation system. CAAS standards address the delivery of patient care, a service’s operational components, and its relationships with other agencies, the general public, and the local medical community.

LifeNet became one of the first ambulance services in Arkansas and the 80th ambulance service in the country to successfully complete the voluntary review process. This process, modeled after the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, includes completion of a comprehensive application and an on-site review by national experts in emergency medical services. Receipt of this gold-standard accreditation represents LifeNet’s continued commitment to the patients and the communities it serves. Since our initial inspection, LifeNet has been reviewed and renewed four times by CAAS. Reviews were conducted in 2003, 2006, 2009, 2012, and 2015.
